Learning does not have an expiration date. From the time we are born, we learn. Some of this learning is formal, some informal and some is experiential. No matter in what setting we find ourselves in, if our minds and hearts are open to learning, we can. Our world and our selves will be better for it.

Asking questions is a foundation of both science and Judaism. Finding answers is almost secondary to the questions themselves. It is possible in our study join these two fields of study to get a fuller understanding of the world in which we live.

Ritual has a deep place of importance in cultures and Judaism does not deviate from this norm. I recognize the larger life-cycle events: weddings, bnai mitzvah, and namings. However, we also need to mark the smaller events in our lives. I use established rituals, reframe existent ones, or help create new ones with each person and situation.
